AMERICAN LEGION POST 53
POKER AND HOUSE RULES
PURPOSE: The American Legion Post 53 sponsors a Poker Game on a Weekly
Basis for friendly competition and comradeship among players. This game is for entertainment purposes only and is not operated as a professional poker establishment. Players are limited to a set amount of investment per session and under no circumstances will players be allowed to exceed this limitation. We hope the players will enjoy themselves, make new friends, and test their skills against the other players. It is the intent that all players will enjoy the challenges and treasure the time spent with friends.
- GAME RULES: BUY IN LIMITS: Each Player shall make a one-time buy in of $20.00 plus a house fee of $10.00(Equipment Replacement, Cards, Chips, etc.)
- TRANSFERS, GIFTS: Players may not transfer any chips to another player. Players may not give or donate any chips to another player.
- CASH OUTS: Any player may cash out his/her chips at any time during the stated session times. A player cashing out may not return to the game. All players will cash out remaining chips at the end of the session.
- DEALERS: One designated American Legion member shall deal all hands to players. A Dealer Button will rotate around the table in a clockwise direction to indicate where the play will begin. The player with the Dealer Button will announce what the game will be for the hand. The American Legion dealer may rotate duties with another designated American Legion member.
- WAGERS: All hands will be played with the following wager limits: First Hour limits will be $0.05, $0.10 and $0.25 allowed on the final card only. All players will be required to post $0.05 ante for all hands. Games requiring blind bets will require a small blind and a large blind from the first two positions to the immediate left of the player with the Dealer Button. The small blind shall be $0.05 and the large blind shall be $0.10. Blinds shall be in addition to the ante bet. There will be a three-raise limit on each round of betting. Second Hour limits shall be twice the first hour limits. The limits for the announced last hand shall be table limits.
